Hope you have all enjoyed the wonders of 2009 and are ready to make this year even more memorable than the last.
As most of you already know, on December 4th of last year I tied the knot with my husband, Jonathan. I had been thinking a lot about changing my surname over to his, but thought that it would perhaps confuse a lot of people seeing as all my websites say Viviana Ordonez. So, to clear up any confusion, I am both Viviana Ordonez and Viviana Brinton. So if either of these names are seen, they are the same person: Me! Whether or not I will change my website title and url to Brinton will be a decision made further on. For now, I will leave it as is.

Anyway, although there has been a bit of a pause in my photography work (due to a seemingly unending list of things to be done), I’ve managed to snap a few pictures here and there.

Happy Hallowe’en!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Hallowe’en!

Last week I had the opportunity to take some pictures of model-man Henry Gordon-Smith around Joyce Station where the skytrain is clearly seen. We didn’t have the best lighting in the world, seeing as it was RAINING (later pouring) and everything was quite muted. Nevertheless I worked with what I had, trying to use as little flash as possible, for an overall natural look.

I didn’t have to do much about positioning and posing; that just makes things stiff and unnatural. As usual, I allowed the subject to do as he wished while still providing my very best opinions when asked. Henry was wonderful as his cheerful personality made the rain seem like nothing.

All in all, I am satisfied with this session! You can check out some of the best shots here.

The Forest is Alive!
